Product Overview

Egyptian IQF strawberries are processed from the same Nubaria and Kafr El-Sheikh growing areas that supply Egypt's fresh export programme. Processing takes place within 24 hours of harvest at the peak of the season (December–February), when source fruit Brix is highest and colour is deepest. The IQF process — Individually Quick Frozen using a belt or spiral freezer at −35°C — ensures each berry freezes separately before packaging, producing a free-flowing product with no bridging or clumping that holds colour, texture, and flavour through the supply chain. Egyptian IQF strawberries are widely used by European and Gulf food manufacturers in smoothie blends, yoghurt, jam, ice cream, bakery filling, and fruit puree applications. Whole, halved, and sliced cuts are available. Glazing is held to ≤5% to maximise declared net weight yield at the buyer's facility.
